Dear Customers and Friends

For this our premier of the new web site, I was feeling "poetic" and as always, so grateful for the store, for your loyalty and patronage, and for this wonderful chapter of life that I am living here in Provincetown. So enjoy the following verses and remember to stop and hear the birds sing. - Ron

My work here is loving this world
Here the sunflowers, there the butterflies - equal seekers of sweetness.
Here the trickling pond, there the swimming puppy dog,
Here the green tomatoes growing high.

Is my body old? Are my jeans torn?
Am I no longer young, and still not half perfect?
Let me keep my mind on what matters, which is my work

Which is mostly standing still and learning to be astonished.
The hydrangeas, the basil, the rhododendrons.
The white glowing tower, the sailboats in the morning, the cool wind at night.
I am blessed and rejoicing, since all the ingredients are here.

There is gratitude for my mind and my heart
And all the wonders of this life
My voice to give shouts of joy to the sunrise over the blue water
The singing birds, the giggling customers, the bicycles rolling by,
And my sweet partner and caring friends,
Telling them all, and myself, over and over,
How it is that we, and love, lives forever.
