Originally the "new" A&P, this concession to modern consumerism is still known locally as the A&P. The A&P had a long history in Provincetown –– several buildings now serving as shops along Commercial Street were originally built for the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. The first modern A&P built on Conwell Street was razed and replaced with affordable housing buildings.
